05/09: Richmond
NCRL-
We had one team that submitted a
team change on Saturday which was disallowed. That Saturday
night Richmond race does tend to sneak up. This week, if you
didn't score in the 400s you were probably the high scorer

NCRL-
The big one actually reared its
head this week with lots of action on the track. In a brief
comment on the Busch (sorry just can't do it) race- is Kevin
Lepage a major PUTZ or what? I wouldn't trust him to merge
onto the Beltway in DC!?

04/09: Texas See Big Scores
NCRL-
Well Texas sure brought some big
scores. However, with that said some teams managed to
stumble and bumble away the weekend. Kathryn was the only
team to eat the -25 Newman penalty, but she still managed to
pull down over 600 points. Lucky Dogs is to be commended for
taking a fly on Mark Martin in Group E while most everyone
else took the McMurray ride. Those tasting the Jeff Gordon
Kool-Aid really suffered this week.
So without further babble, the year to date standings
followed by each teams TX score and points behind....
1. Mike 4261 721
2. Lucky Dogs 4147 690 114
3. Sunset 4067 546 194

04/03: Martinsville In
NCRL-
Short track madness scores all
over the place. G&J bounce back with a 692 point day
while current points leader Mike held on by his finger nails
with a dismal 479 point showing. This mad Sunset Beach
very happy after a slip-up last week helped knock them out
of the top spot.
1. Mike 479 3540
2. Sunset 554 3521 19
3. Lucky Dogs 514 3457 83

03/23: Bristol Sees Two Teams Run Only Four Drivers.
NCRL-
Two teams had some issues for
the Bristol race. G&J didn't make the Mark Martin
change and ran only four drivers. A family emergency
trumped the change. Then the new #1 team Sunset Beach
(aka Paul) thought he would get Almirola who took over for
Martin. Nope you can only get a replacement driver if
the primary is injured.
Neil had a big day rounding up 583 points and jumping up two
spots to seventh.
Then Mike blasted his way to a 629 point race with his
lowest driver Robby Gordon at 91 points moving into first
with Sunset Beach's snafu. But, Sunset Beach held on
to second.
Here are Bristol's race points.
1. Mike 620
2. Neil 583
3. BNB 571
4. Lucky Dogs 533
5. MacRob 517
6. Sunset Beach 506
7. REL 500
8. Jim 451

10. Kathryn 393
11. Mike D. 391

03/13: Sunset Beach Jumps to the top
NCRL-
Third place Sunset Beach hopped
over Luck Dogs and REL to take over the top spot after
Atlanta. And Right behind him is Mike who moved from fourth
to second.
REL took a big fall dropping three spots, and Lucky Dogs
slipped one.
Please make sure to send all
changes to the folks on this email. The Commish will be away
from home base this weekend.

02/18: Toyota Strong for Mike
NCRL-
First race is out of the box and
the Toyota boys helped give mike a nice bump. But, hey
its only one race.
Also, a big thanks to Greg from team G&J who came up with a
nice spreadsheet for the points. This is especially thankful
from the Commissioner.

02/07: Fewer Teams for '08
NCRL-
Unless some new teams show up
for the '08 NCRL season it appears that we may be down three
teams. Sammi on of the early teams has indicted that
she will miss the '08 run. Team Lalu, one of the
originals is very iffy, and Team Swollen who was also an
original and then made a return will not be playing this
year.
That sets the filed at 12 currently. But, of note a
number of others have not checked in as yet.

01/27: Many NASCAR Changes Greet NCRL Teams
NCRL-
As we approach 2008 it is wisely
recommended that team ensure they check out the new rosters
for Cup teams. There have been a number of changes and
a number of drivers who wont be in a ride at the start of
the new Spring Cup session.
The new segment list is up on the
segment page, as is a
list of the announced Cup drivers on the
Cup Drivers page.

11/25: And its Over, G&J are the 2007 NCRL Champions
NCRL-
G&J roll into the NCRL
Championship 308 points ahead of second place MacRob. MacRob
who were stuck in the middle of the pack during the early
going came back strong to place in the money again.
Jim Slipped from sitting in second to third and Mike D.
bumped Mike out of the fourth slot to finish in the last
money spot.
For Mike a strong start dissolved with penalties and drivers
crashing in the final races.
It was a good year with a lot of movement, we look forward
to another crazy season in '08 with new teams and new cars..
